Brandon Markosek for PA

About Me

Since his election in 2018 Brandon has been a proven fighter for the 25th district.

Brandon was elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 2018. Since being sworn in he authored a bill that passed the House unanimously to prohibit a tax on the stimulus checks of Pennsylvanians. He has also led the charge for supporting and promoting handicapped citizens of our commonwealth. Brandon was chosen to serve as co-chair of the house Autism and Disabilities caucus.
Brandon’s efforts have also led to the procurement of over five million dollars of local grants to municipalities for infrastructure needs, schools, parks, and safety. Brandon is a strong supporter of all first responders in Pennsylvania.

Markosek served as a Community Outreach Representative for State Senator Jim Brewster. Markosek is also a Board member for VisitMonroeville, Friends of Monroeville Library, and is active in the Monroeville Chamber of Commerce. 

Brandon has held positions at the State Capital in Harrisburg, as well as other positions involving government in the private and non-profit health care sectors.

Mr. Markosek is a graduate of Duquesne University where he obtained Bachelor’s degrees in both Political Science and History. He also holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Pittsburgh. He has also taken courses through Stanford University’s online program.

The 25th Legislative District includes Monroeville, Pitcairn, North Versailles, Wilmerding, East McKeesport, Turtle Creek, Wall, and parts of Plum and Trafford.
